Charles Henry Brase
Charles Henry Brase was a mathematics professor who earned a Ph.D. from the University of Colorado at Boulder and taught at Regis University for nearly 30 years, earning Faculty Member of the Year twice. With his wife Corrinne, he co-authored the bestselling textbook *Understandable Statistics*, first published in 1979 and now in its 13th edition, as well as *Understanding Basic Statistics*. He passed away in 2017 at age 75 after over 50 years of marriage centered on education and shared interests in mathematics, travel, hiking, and fishing.
