Charles Haukes Todd Sir 1 Crosthwaite

Sir Charles Haukes Todd Crosthwaite (1835–1915) was a prominent British colonial administrator in India, entering the Bengal Civil Service in 1857 after education at Merchant Taylors' School and St. John's College, Oxford. He held key positions including Chief Commissioner of Burma (1887–1890), Lieutenant-Governor of the North-Western Provinces and Oudh (1892–1895), and Member of the Council of India (1895–1905).
