Charity Tillemann-Dick

Charity Sunshine Tillemann-Dick was an American soprano, opera singer, and presenter who survived two double lung transplants after being diagnosed with pulmonary hypertension in 2004. She performed globally, advocated for organ donation, and authored the memoir The Encore: A Memoir in Three Acts. She died on April 23, 2019, at age 35 from cancer linked to long-term immunosuppression.
