Central Intelligence Agency
The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) is the principal foreign intelligence and counterintelligence agency of the United States federal government. Established in 1947 under the National Security Act, it collects, analyzes, and disseminates intelligence to support national security and foreign policy decisions.
