Celine Kiernan is an Irish author of fantasy novels for young adults, best known for The Moorehawke Trilogy. Born in Dublin, Ireland, in 1967, she spent over seventeen years working as a classical feature film animator before becoming a full-time writer. She has also worked as a freelance illustrator.
