Celia Rees

Celia Rees is one of Britain's foremost writers for teenagers with an international reputation, known for her historical fiction and young adult novels. Born in Solihull, West Midlands, she studied History and Politics at Warwick University and taught English in schools for over sixteen years before becoming a full-time writer in 1997. Her novel Witch Child has been translated into 25-28 languages and is widely read in UK secondary schools.
