Catherine Hapka

Catherine Hapka is a prolific author who has written over 150 books for children and young adults, many featuring horses such as those in the Horse Diaries, Pony Scouts, Saddle Club, and Pine Hollow series.[1][2][6] A lifelong horse lover living on a small farm in Chester County, Pennsylvania, she enjoys horseback riding, animals, gardening, and music.[1][4][6] She graduated from the University of Pennsylvania with a B.A. in English and Communications and has also penned Lost tie-in novellas under the name Cathy Hapka.[3][5]
