Catherine Cubitt

Catherine Cubitt is Professor Emerita of Medieval History at the University of East Anglia, specializing in the early Middle Ages, particularly the Christian church in England, the continent, and its Mediterranean links.[2][4] She studied Anglo-Saxon, Norse and Celtic, and History at Cambridge, and has worked as a research assistant for the English Place-Name Society.[2] Her research includes topics like spiritual and blood kinship in episcopal appointments during the English Benedictine Reforms.[1]
