Catherine Bruton
Catherine Bruton is a multi-award-winning children's author and teacher who studied English Language and Literature at Oxford University. Her novels, including No Ballet Shoes in Syria, We Can Be Heroes, and Bird Boy, tackle significant issues faced by young people such as terrorism, immigration, and the refugee crisis. She lives outside Bath with her family and has been juggling life as a teacher, novelist, and mother for over fifteen years.
