Caroline Faribairn

Dame Carolyn Julie Fairbairn DBE is a British businesswoman who served as director-general of the Confederation of British Industry from 2015 to 2020. She began her career as an economist at the World Bank and journalist at The Economist, later working as a management consultant at McKinsey & Company, in 10 Downing Street's policy unit under John Major, and in strategy roles at BBC Worldwide and ITV. Currently, she is an independent non-executive director at HSBC and Chair of the Royal Mencap Society.[1][2][3][4]
