Caroline Criado Perez is a British feminist author, journalist, and activist known for campaigns like the Women's Room project to increase female experts in media and successfully advocating for Jane Austen's image on the £10 banknote.[1][2] She authored the #1 Sunday Times bestseller Invisible Women: Exposing Data Bias in a World Designed for Men, highlighting gender biases in data and design, and led efforts for a statue of Millicent Fawcett in Parliament Square.[3][5] Appointed OBE in 2015, she has received awards including Liberty Human Rights Campaigner of the Year.[1][4]
