Caroline Arnold (Author, Illustrator)

Caroline Arnold is an American author and illustrator best known for more than 100 children's books, especially nonfiction works about animals, nature, science, and history. Born in Pittsburgh and raised in Minneapolis, she studied art at Grinnell College and the University of Iowa before beginning her writing career after her children were born.[1][2]
