Carol Diggory Shields

Carol Diggory Shields is an author of popular poetry collections for young readers, including Lunch Money and Almost Late to School. A former children's librarian and storyteller, she worked in libraries and hospitals before beginning her writing career in earnest at age 39, eventually publishing numerous children's books alongside her work as a librarian.
