Carol Dean Jones

Carol Dean Jones is a retired geriatric social worker born in Kentucky and currently living in the West Virginia foothills. She is best known as the author of the popular Quilting Cozy mystery series featuring protagonist Sarah Miller, which began with 'Tie Died' in 2014 and concluded with 'Frayed Edges' in 2021. Her background in social work and experience with aging informed her writing, particularly her focus on themes of active engagement, learning, and community in later life.
