Carly Simon

Carly Simon is an American singer-songwriter, musician, and author born on June 25, 1943, in New York City, who rose to fame in the 1970s with hits like 'You're So Vain' and 'That's the Way I've Always Heard It Should Be,' winning a Grammy for Best New Artist in 1971. She married James Taylor in 1972, had two children, and divorced in 1983, while achieving further success with the 1988 song 'Let the River Run' from Working Girl, earning an Oscar, Grammy, and Golden Globe.
