Carlos Fortes Lopes

Carlos Lopes is a Cape Verdean economist and academic known for his work on African development, international governance, and economic policy. He has held senior United Nations roles, including Executive Secretary of the UN Economic Commission for Africa, and has taught at institutions such as the University of Cape Town and Sciences Po Paris.[1]
