Carla Kelly
Carla Kelly is an award-winning author best known for her unique Regency romances featuring non-aristocratic characters, such as members of the Royal Navy and British Army, often set during the Napoleonic Wars. She began her writing career with Western short stories and historical novels like A Daughter of Fortune, set in the American Southwest, and has won two RITA awards from Romance Writers of America. Kelly has worked as a ranger for the National Park Service and historical researcher, and has lived in places including Idaho Falls, Idaho, and Valley City, North Dakota.
