Carl Gottlieb Pfander
Carl Gottlieb Pfander (1803–1865) was a German Lutheran Christian missionary, priest, and apologist known for his work among Muslims in Central Asia, the Trans-Caucasus, and British India. He served with the Basel Mission and later the Church Missionary Society, and became widely known for his polemical writings and public debates on Christianity and Islam.
