Carine McCandless
Carine McCandless is an entrepreneur, activist, mother, and public speaker who has been self-employed since starting her first company at age nineteen.[1][2] She is the sister of Chris McCandless, whose story inspired Jon Krakauer's *Into the Wild*, and she authored the New York Times bestseller *The Wild Truth* in 2014, revealing the troubled family history including abuse they endured.[1][3] Her presentations are featured in education and corporate venues across the United States.[1]
