Carellin Brooks

Carellin Brooks is a Canadian writer and Rhodes Scholar born in Vancouver in 1970 who holds a doctorate in English literature from Oxford University.[8] She has published five books including the debut novel One Hundred Days of Rain, which won the Edmund White Award in 2016 and the ReLit Award for Fiction in 2017, as well as poetry, non-fiction, and edited anthologies.[2][6] Brooks is a lecturer in communications and academic writing at the University of British Columbia's Faculty of Forestry and Environmental Stewardship, where she has taught for over 20 years.[6][7]
