Camille Rankin

Camille Rankine is an American poet born and raised in Portland, Oregon, the daughter of Jamaican immigrants. She earned a BA from Harvard University and an MFA in Creative Writing from Columbia University. Her debut collection, Incorrect Merciful Impulses, was published by Copper Canyon Press in 2016, and she has won numerous literary prizes including the Boston Review Discovery Poetry Prize and fellowships from the MacDowell Colony and National Endowment for the Arts.
