Camilla de la Bedoyere
Camilla de la Bedoyere studied Zoology and Geology at Bristol University and taught for 10 years before becoming a full-time non-fiction author, having written or edited over 250 books for children and adults, many focusing on the natural world and conservation.[1][2][4][5] She is a London-based freelance journalist who created and edited a children's page in a British national newspaper, and continues as a specialist literacy teacher at a London high school.[1][3][5] A Fellow of the Zoological Society of London, she has been writing for nearly 30 years and is one of the UK's most borrowed library authors.[4][5]
