Calvin S Brown
Calvin S. Brown (1909–1989) was an internationally influential pioneer in the interdisciplinary study of literature and music, credited as the founder of the University of Georgia's Comparative Literature Department. He is recognized as the author of the first systematically conceived survey of melopoetics, a branch of interart studies examining the relationship between music and literature.
