Calvin Earl Dallas

Calvin Earl is an American singer, musician, storyteller, and documentary filmmaker specializing in the history of African American Spirituals. He is passionate about the preservation of spirituals and has advocated for their recognition as a National Treasure, successfully lobbying for twin resolutions (H. Res. 120 and S. Res 69) passed by Congress in 2007. As a singer/songwriter, guitarist, and activist, he documents and shares African American spiritual history through his work.
