Calbraith B Perry

Calbraith B. Perry appears to be a mistaken reference to Matthew Calbraith Perry, a U.S. naval officer and diplomat best known for leading the expedition that opened Japan to American trade in 1853–1854. He also played a major role in modernizing the U.S. Navy through his advocacy of steam power, earning him the nickname 'Father of the Steam Navy.'
