C S Lewis

C.S. Lewis (1898-1963) was an Irish-born British scholar, novelist, and Christian apologist, best known for his children's fantasy series The Chronicles of Narnia and works like Mere Christianity and The Screwtape Letters. Initially an atheist, he converted to Christianity in 1929 after intellectual struggles, profoundly influencing his prolific output of over 40 books on faith, literature, and imagination. He served as a professor of English literature at Oxford and Cambridge universities.
