C. Moore Clement , Tomie DePaola (Illustrator)

Clement Clarke Moore was an American scholar, teacher, and writer best known for the poem “A Visit from St. Nicholas,” later popularized as “’Twas the Night Before Christmas.” He taught at the General Theological Seminary in New York City and also published academic works on Hebrew language and literature.
