C G Baëta

Christian Gonçalves Kwami Baëta (1908-1994) was a Ghanaian Presbyterian minister, academic, and church leader born in Keta, Ghana. He served as Synod Clerk of the Evangelical Presbyterian Church from 1945 to 1949, contributed to the establishment of the University of Ghana, and taught in its divinity department from 1949 to 1971, authoring the seminal work 'Prophetism in Ghana.' He held leadership roles in international bodies like the International Missionary Council and was President of the Ghana Academy of Arts and Sciences.[1][2]
