John Gray is an American relationship counselor, lecturer, and author best known for his 1992 bestseller *Men Are from Mars, Women Are from Venus*, which has sold over 15 million copies and explores gender differences in communication.[1][2] Born in Houston, Texas, in 1951, he began his career after a nine-year association with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi starting in 1969, later moving to California to focus on relationship workshops and authoring over 20 books.[1][3][4] Gray continues to offer advice through books, lectures, and his MarsVenus platform, helping couples improve relationships.[4][6]
