Christopher McCauley is a political scientist and professor in the Department of Black Studies at the University of California, Santa Barbara. His research focuses on African politics, world-systems theory, Black intellectual history, and political economy, and he has authored books on Oliver C. Cox and W. E. B. Du Bois.
