Burton G. Malkiel
Burton G. Malkiel is an American economist and writer best known for the investment classic "A Random Walk Down Wall Street," which helped popularize the efficient market hypothesis and low-cost index investing. He has spent much of his career at Princeton University, where he served as a professor of economics and chair of the economics department, and he also served as dean of the Yale School of Management.
