Burr Cartwright Brundage was an author and retired professor of history at Eckerd College who specialized in pre-Columbian Mesoamerican civilizations, particularly the Aztecs and Incas. He authored several scholarly works examining the history, culture, and development of these empires, including 'Empire of the Inca,' 'A Rain of Darts: The Mexica Aztecs,' and 'Lords of Cuzco.'
