Bukard Baron von Mullenheim-Rechberg

Burkard Freiherr von Müllenheim-Rechberg (also rendered as Bukard Baron von Mullenheim-Rechberg) was a German naval officer, diplomat, and author born in 1910. He served in the Kriegsmarine and later entered the diplomatic service of the Federal Republic of Germany; he is also known as the highest-ranking survivor of the battleship Bismarck.
