Brunner Arnold W 1857-1925

Arnold William Brunner (1857-1925) was an American architect born and died in New York City, educated in New York, Manchester, England, and at MIT.[1] He gained renown for designing synagogues, public buildings like the Howard M. Metzenbaum U.S. Courthouse in Cleveland, and contributing to city plans in cities including Cleveland, Rochester, Baltimore, Denver, Trenton, and Albany.[1][2][7] Brunner also collaborated on Cleveland's 1903 Group Plan and won the competition for the U.S. State Department Building.[2]
