Bruce Olav Solheim

Bruce Olav Solheim, born September 3, 1958, in Seattle, Washington, to Norwegian immigrant parents, is a historian, author, and disabled U.S. Army veteran who served six years including as a jail guard in Germany and warrant officer helicopter pilot. He earned a Ph.D. in history from Bowling Green State University in 1993 and is a distinguished professor at Citrus College, where he founded the Veterans Program. Solheim has published numerous books on history, women's leadership, the Vietnam War era, and paranormal topics, alongside writing and producing plays.
