BrownTrout Publishers was founded in 1986 in Salt Lake City by Mike Brown, his brother Marc Brown, and sister-in-law Wendover Brown, starting as a family business with three calendar titles and 10,000 printed calendars. It has grown to become the world's largest calendar publisher, producing over 1,200 titles and more than 13 million calendars annually while remaining the only major independent publisher in the industry.[1][2][5]
