Brown
Marc Tolon Brown is an American illustrator and children's book author best known for creating the Arthur book series, which began as a bedtime story for his five-year-old son in 1976. The Arthur character became a global phenomenon, with the Emmy Award-winning PBS television series broadcast in over 80 countries and nearly 60 million books sold in the United States alone. Brown has written and illustrated more than thirty Arthur books and continues to create children's literature.
