Brooke Shaden
Brooke Shaden is an American fine art photographer, writer, and motivational speaker born in March 1987 in Lancaster, Pennsylvania, known for her surreal and dark self-portraiture that explores grief and the duality of human nature[2][3]. She graduated from Temple University with degrees in Film and English Literature and has been internationally exhibited, including as the youngest artist in The Annenberg Space for Photography's "Digital Darkroom" exhibition at age 24[2][5]. Shaden currently lives in Flagstaff, Arizona, where she writes fantasy/sci-fi novels, creates daily art, and advocates for a grief-positive movement[1][6].
