Brillat-Savarin Jean Anthelme

Jean Anthelme Brillat-Savarin was a French lawyer, politician, and writer best known for *Physiologie du goût* (*The Physiology of Taste*), a classic work on gastronomy that helped define the genre of the gastronomic essay.
