Bridget Whelan
Bridget Whelan is a journalist, novelist, and teacher whose career spanned from the Catholic weekly The Universe to working with Paul Foot at The Daily Mirror, eventually focusing on helping other writers. Born to Irish parents, she made her mark in Fleet Street journalism, wrote fiction after winning a $4000 international short story prize, and pursued a Masters in Creative Writing. She maintains an active presence as a writer for writers and readers.
