Brian Klaas
Brian Paul Klaas (born June 29, 1986) is an American political scientist, Professor of Global Politics at University College London, contributing writer for The Atlantic, and host of the award-winning Power Corrupts podcast.[1][3] He grew up in Golden Valley, Minnesota, earned his DPhil from the University of Oxford, and has authored five books including Fluke (2024), Corruptible (2021), and How to Rig an Election (2018).[1][2][9] Named one of the 25 top thinkers globally for 2025 by Prospect magazine, his expertise covers democracy, authoritarianism, power, and chaos theory.[1][3]
