Brent Zwerneman

Brent Zwerneman is a veteran sports journalist who has covered Texas A&M athletics for the Houston Chronicle since 2001, with prior coverage dating back to 1995 for various outlets, earning him the FWAA Steve Ellis Beat Writer of the Year Award in 2022. He previously worked as a sports writer for the San Antonio Express-News. A former college baseball player at Sam Houston State University from 1991-1992, he hails from Spring, Texas.
