Brent D. Shaw

Brent Donald Shaw (born May 27, 1947) is a Canadian historian and Andrew Fleming West Professor Emeritus in Classics at Princeton University. His scholarship focuses on the regional history of the Roman world, especially Roman Africa, along with the demographic and social history of the Roman family and the study of violence and social order.
