Edward Boscawen (1711–1761) was a prominent British Royal Navy officer and politician, best known for his naval commands during the mid-18th century, including victories at the Siege of Louisbourg in 1758 and the Battle of Lagos in 1759 during the Seven Years' War.[1][3][4]
