Bobby McAlpine

Bobby McAlpine is an American architect, interior designer, poet, and entrepreneur born in an Alabama sawmill town, where he designed his first house at age five and received his first commission at thirteen.[2][3][5] An Auburn University graduate (class of 1981), he founded McAlpine Tankersley Architecture in Montgomery, Alabama, in 1983, which has grown to offices in multiple cities, and later formed McAlpine Booth & Ferrier Interiors in 1997.[4][5] Author of bestselling books including *The Home Within Us* (2010), *Poetry of Place* (2017), and *McALPINE Romantic Modernism* (2023), he is known for creating timeless, emotionally evocative homes in traditional and regional styles.[5][6]
