Bobby Humphrey
Bobby Humphrey is a former American football running back born in Birmingham, Alabama, who starred at the University of Alabama, becoming one of the top collegiate players with over 4,958 all-purpose yards and earning All-American honors. Drafted by the Denver Broncos in the first round of the 1989 NFL Draft, he achieved back-to-back 1,000-yard rushing seasons and was the first rookie in Broncos history to rush for 1,000 yards, later playing in Super Bowl XXIV and earning a Pro Bowl selection in 1990. Post-football, he served as the first head coach of the Birmingham Steeldogs Arena Football 2 team and was inducted into the Alabama Sports Hall of Fame in 2004, now working as a motivational speaker and chairman of the Alabama Physical Fitness Leadership Council.
