Bob Orr

Bob Orr is a New Zealand poet born in 1949 in Hoe-o-Tainui, and he was raised on farms in the Waikato. He became associated with the 1970s literary scene through *Freed/The Word is Freed* and *The Young New Zealand Poets*, and his published collections include *Valparaiso* and *Calypso*.
