Bob Fisher
Robert 'Bob' Fisher (1922-2008) was an American playwright, screenwriter, and author of Jewish descent, renowned for his comedy work in film, television, and theater, writing scripts for stars like Groucho Marx, Lucille Ball, and Bob Hope, and creating over 400 radio programs and 1200 TV shows, including an Emmy-winning series for Danny Thomas. He also authored motivational self-help books such as 'The Knight in Rusty Armor,' along with children's tales like 'The Owl Who Couldn't Hoot' and 'The Cat Who Found God,' co-written with Beth Kelly, promoting optimism and personal growth. Fisher began writing at age 19 and received awards including Sylvania, St. Christopher, and MartÃn Fierro for best comedy.
