Bill Peet
Bill Peet (1915–2002) was an American children's book author, illustrator, and Disney animator who joined Walt Disney Studios in 1937, contributing to films like Snow White, Pinocchio, One Hundred and One Dalmatians, and The Sword in the Stone, for which he created all storyboards.[1][2][4] After retiring from Disney in 1964 following nearly 30 years, he wrote and illustrated over 35 children's books featuring fanciful animals and environmental themes, including The Wump World and his autobiography Bill Peet: An Autobiography.[1][3][4][5]
