Bill Katovsky
Bill Katovsky was a writer, triathlete, and founder of Tri-Athlete Magazine, which later evolved into Triathlete Magazine. He authored books including the award-winning Embedded: The Media at War in Iraq (2003) and Patriots Act: Voices of Dissent and the Risk of Speaking Out (2006), and collaborated on works like Bike for Life (2005). A UC Berkeley graduate and former Brookings Institution researcher, he completed the Hawaii Ironman twice before his death.
